Interior
The interior of a Cresta is inimitable, distinguished and unique. The luxury, comfort and functionality aboard any Cresta vessel is unmatched. Many of our master craftsmen are second and third generation boat builders, ensuring patience, pride and attention to detail is in their blood. They endure thousands of painstaking hours constructing cabinetry, meticulously finishing surfaces and finessing joinery to ensure that every vessel that leaves the yard is first class. All interiors are handcrafted on site and are subject to rigorous quality control by Production Managers and Supervisors.
Each owner has a distinct personality, and their vessel should reflect this. Whether cruising, entertaining, fishing, diving, exploring or all of the above is your passion, finding the balance and satisfying these needs is what our Interior Architects do best. They listen, interact and pay close attention to your requests, ensuring you take home the vessel that ultimately symbolises you. Whether it’s forward or aft galleys, dining tables or dinettes, right down to the embroidery on your bathroom towels you will receive a five star experience.
Once the layout is finalised, you really start to experience the seductive world of custom yacht ownership. Rather than offering a standard timber veneer, Cresta owners have access to multiple veneers, from Black Heart Sassafras to Japanese Sen. You can even choose to travel to the timber yard and hand select your veneer. Once the veneer has been selected it is fumigated and shipped to the yard. The veneer is then pressed onto our lightweight panels. A satin or high gloss finish is then applied at our in house positive atmosphere pressurised spray booth.
Interior fit out can be exciting but at the same time overwhelming. Cresta’s Italian interior architects offer a distinct European flavour, yet also offer an instinctual and intricate understanding of all the current trends and unrivalled techniques the world has to offer. Be it MariaFlora, Molteni or Poltrona Frau our team will not accept anything but the best. You can be as conservative or as avant-garde as you wish. Most Cresta owners are the latter.
A Cresta interior will always feel generous and spacious. The use of natural light, a substantial head height and wide passage ways is a Cresta trademark. Head heights are over 2000mm in saloon and galley areas, and over 1940mm in all accommodation spaces. Large electric sunroofs, hull windows and opening portholes ensure natural light and ventilation constantly flows throughout the vessel, and the smell of salt and sea attacks the senses. When it is time to retire for the day, adequate insulation and noise attenuation guarantees a good night’s sleep for all guests and crew on board.
Often the experience onboard your vessel is affected by the ‘little things’. Be it cedar lined cupboards and draws, silk cotton carpet, Egyptian cotton bedding, soft close cabinetry, independently controlled air conditioning or LED lighting- all of these ‘little things’ go a long way to enhancing your experience aboard your customised Cresta vessel.
At Cresta, we believe a custom interior is critical to the end result. Cresta employs the most innovative and creative individuals to ensure you get the best result. Having your very own interior architect right throughout the build ultimately enhances your boating experience. All this before you even turn the key. That’s the Cresta difference, “Quality, Workmanship and Dependability since 1965.”
